Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bidspro International (“we”, “us”), the operator of Bump (https://bumppaid.com), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). Bump is an AI accounts-receivable tool that helps you follow up on unpaid invoices. We are based in Bucharest, Romania.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Business data you provide — invoices, client names and contact details, amounts, due dates, and the reminder messages you send through the Service.
• Data from connected accounting & payment systems — if you connect a third-party system such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Stripe, we import your open invoices and the related customer information (name, email, amount, due date, currency, and payment status) so we can follow up on unpaid invoices. We request read-only access and never write to, change, or delete anything in your connected account.
• Billing information — subscription plan and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe), not by us.
• Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Advertising data — if you reach us via an ad, a click identifier (e.g. an X/Twitter twclid) and pixel events used to measure ad performance.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service, including drafting and scheduling invoice reminders.
• To create and manage your account and process your subscription.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
• To measure and improve our marketing, including ad-conversion measurement.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues, and to comply with law.

Connected accounts (QuickBooks Online, Xero & Stripe)

When you connect a third-party system such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Stripe, you authorize us — through that provider’s secure OAuth flow — to access certain data on your behalf. For QuickBooks Online and Xero we request read-only access to invoices and contacts, and we use it solely to:

• import your open (unpaid) invoices and the associated customer name, email, amount, and due date; and
• check whether an invoice has been paid, so we can automatically stop reminders once it is settled.

We do not create, write to, modify, or delete any data in your QuickBooks, Xero, or Stripe account, and we do not access information beyond what is needed to follow up on invoices. We do not sell this data, and we share it only with the service providers listed below to operate the Service. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from your Bump settings; disconnecting revokes our access and stops further syncing, and you can delete any imported data from your account. Our access to and use of connected-account data complies with the applicable Intuit and Xero developer terms and data-use requirements.

AI and your data

Bump uses generative AI (provided by Anthropic) to draft the wording and tone of your invoice reminders. To generate a draft, we send the minimum information needed — such as the invoice number, amount, due date, and the client’s name — to Anthropic’s API. This information, including any data that originated from a connected system such as QuickBooks or Xero, is used only to generate the reminder for you at the time of your request. It is never used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any AI model. You can review and edit every AI-drafted reminder before it is sent.

Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (such as keeping you signed in) and for analytics and advertising measurement. This includes the X (Twitter) Ads pixel, which sets cookies and receives events to measure the performance of our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect the Service.

Service providers we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors who process it on our behalf to run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your account data.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Resend — delivery of transactional and reminder emails.
• Anthropic — AI model used to draft reminder messages; your data is used only to generate drafts and is not used to train its models.
• X (Twitter) Ads — advertising and conversion measurement.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at protimghosh@bidsprointernational.com.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
